Red Or Not?
Redhead?
In some light it is hard to tell if our friends son will have red hair or not, however from this shot, I would definitely place my bets on red!
Spring Time Colors
I just happened to see this butterfly while watering the lawn. It stayed long enough and still enough to get several close ups on our flowering bush.

Geocach: Falling short.
It was a long 2 hour hike up hill and it felt like it was never going to end. I have been up other hills and cliffs before but this one differently had one of the best views. Here are some of the photos to prove that I live in the most beautiful place in the world.
My co-workers created this Geocache and named it “Falling Short” as they have hiked it many times after work but could never quite reach the view before dark. After we wondered all over the bush, we finally reached it, sat down and took in the view. We lost track of time and did not head back until nearly sunset which made coming down the steep slows difficult. We made it back however despite the fact we nearly lost Duke the dog several times and thought we were being chanced by a moose.
City Eagle

City Eagle
Ever drive by something then thought “I wish I had my camera” or “I should have pulled over and took a photo”? I always seem to drive past things. I don’t know why but I never pull over.
Finally yesterday I saw a little white speck on a tree. Just the thought that it could be a eagle made me quickly change lanes so I could drive down another road to get a little closer. I was still far away but I had my zoom lens. There were barb wire fences around a building in front of the tree so I couldn’t get any closer.
This eagle was in the city looking over the river. Probably looking for fish, maybe some early salmon? This was the best shot I could get.
Me And My Photos!

Me And My Camera
Welcome to Orlund.com,
Just thought I would post some of my photos rather than just let them fill up my computer and collect cyber dust. So here they are. You probably won’t see some great world exploration or National Geographic photos of “100 million trillion” year old bones of some evolveing man-monkey but you will see the world around me. Not that I haven’t looked for man-monkeys, actally there are plenty where I live but I think they would be offened if I listed them as a man-monkey or even if I said they were “100 million trillion” years old.
For now I will stick to photographing the more modern things and hopfully you will find my photos of the everyday things just as exciting. I like the challange of finding an interesting view of the things we drive past everyday. Learning to just stop the car, get out and take a photo has been a long lesson for me. Normally I like to get places as fast as possible without any delays.
Today I had my first opertunity to stop and take a photo. A bold eagle in the middle of town. But I will save that for my next post. Hope you enjoy my photos.
