Psalty has made it from the 80’s and into the Internet age. Ya, Go Psalty!

Here is my simple discovery. The Wordpress database is quite simple. In fact I am using WordPress Mu (which allows for multiple blogs). There are only a hand full of tables that are very nicely named. For example wp-posts which has the posts!

So why am I so excited about this? Well it would be easy to create a cron job on the server to run a php script that would collect posts from within the last month then create a news letter that would be sent out to everyone on a mailing list.

Of course there may already be a script out there like that, I never searched it yet. Either way it would be easy enough to create your own so that you could customize it exactly how you want with your own templates for it. I guess that will have to be one of my projects.

If everyone else gets to blog about unimportant information then so do I. Right now I am at work on lunch eating my pork chop. I is a BBQ pork chop with mashed potatoes and way to much grave. Just the way I like it. Well not that much grave. It is more like a soup.

If you don’t live in kamloops then your missing out. Today is nice warm and sunny. Great day for another BBQ. That is the only way to eat. Every piece of meat should have four or five nice black charcoal grill lines across it. That is a sign of good food.
