Ultrasound

Ok, just so you know I am a little slow with these things. On Dec. 4 we had our baby’s ultrasound done. Besides the stress of being held up in a hospital for 3 hours and being 2 hours late for work, everything went good. It was really exciting to see our little baby. It actually felt like there was a real person inside her tommy. we could see it move around and see it’s little heart beating away. I knew it was real but you don’t realize just how real it is until you see the little hands and face. It is kind of weard how we have to see things before we really believe that they are there.

Before we see we just know and we think we believe but with every little glimse more we see the more we believe. I suppose that is the way we are with God. The more He reveals to us the more real we believe He is. The funny part is that God does not become more real based on what we see or know. God is just as real before we see or know Him, it is just the way we perceive Him.

Well thats my little ted bit.

Things are changing

It has been a while since I last posted and lots have changed. So here it is.

First my wife is pregnant and as of today she is 13 weeks. Our baby is due on May 4. We now have to convert our home office in to a babies room so I will be kicked out of there. So there is a big change but it is exciting.

On November 5 I will be going to Edmonton for some Oracle training. I will be working alot more with the databases at the university now along with some software development.

The other change that is not posted is that Jenn and I are now youth directors at IGnite. Things are going good there and things are beginning to take shape. The youth, youth leaders and the two of us are really excited for the future and what is beginning to happen.

Family Reunion

Today I updated my photo gallery to include photos from the family reunion. We had fun. It was the first time for my wife to meet some of my family on my dad’s side.

If you haven’t played Settlers of Catan, then your missing out! That was the best discover we made at the reunion. One of my second cousins created there own board so that the game would be bigger and more people could play. We played that several times over.

That was our one big adventure for the summer. Hope you all are having a great summer!
