Ever drive by something then thought “I wish I had my camera” or “I should have pulled over and took a photo”? I always seem to drive past things. I don’t know why but I never pull over.

Finally yesterday I saw a little white speck on a tree. Just the thought that it could be a eagle made me quickly change lanes so I could drive down another road to get a little closer. I was still far away but I had my zoom lens. There were barb wire fences around a building in front of the tree so I couldn’t get any closer.

This eagle was in the city looking over the river. Probably looking for fish, maybe some early salmon? This was the best shot I could get.
