The Bridge At Night
One night during a walk with a friend,
that is a rare thing for a father of two little girls
since my curfew is usually 7:00pm
Canucks Mermaid
I was in Vancouver a couple days ago and saw the the Canucks mermaid.
Rainy Day
Rainy morning from my hotel room.
Glad I live in a semi-desert, where I rarely see this!
Clock Tower
Leaving the parking lot at the university.
It was a long day at work,
and was time to go home.
Winter Fog

Winter is here and with it comes some unique opportunities.
Here is my city on a foggy late afternoon.
I stopped on the way home from work.
Locomotive
We took a ride on this train pulled by Locomotive 2141.
The kids had fun and I enjoyed the history of the train, our town and the Bill Miner Gang.
I like to learn about the history of our own town, it’s kind of like being a tourist at home.
Reflections On The Court
The sky was clearing up and the sun was coming out.
Then out of nowhere came rain and hail.
I ran backĀ about four blocks and allĀ the way through the park.
Finally when I was close to my car it stopped and I managed to get this shot.
Just goes to show: rain, hail or snow there is always something interesting to see.
Where I Live
Here is a photo of where I live, surrounded by tumble weed, cactus and dry grass. It is very dry and brown during the summer but that is what makes our city unique. This photo taken from the university were I work looking down on the lower part of the city.
Old Truck
I came across this old truck on the drive home one day. So early on a Saturday morning I went out and took the picture. It was in the middle of a field on the edge of town so I used my 300mm lens. I wanted to get it in the morning so that the sun was shining on it and the building.
I love old trucks. I think it is all the metal that they are made of that I like. I love the old dash boards, no plastic!
Home of the Leprechaun
Ever wonder where the Leprechaun lives? Found his house under the rainbow on the drive home after work.
Lonely Park Bench

Lonely Park Bench
A Blue Night
Some photos of the city, bridge, band shell, and beach at night from the city park all done with my 75-300mm lens and a tripod.
